Years ago, following a series of events that I felt I couldn't bear any longer, I sat on my bed with a bottle of pills and a glass of water, about to kill myself. I was convinced that life was hopeless. That moment, Jesus came to me himself. He told me that there was hope, if I trusted Him. He saved my life... and gives me every song.

The great news is, He loves you that much, too! He waits patiently for us to turn to Him. But God loves us so much that He has given us freedom. Like a child who learns by touching a hot stove, He allows us to choose.

Discover that it's His love you really need. He is the most loving and forgiving Father you could possibly imagine. I'm nothing special. I just admitted that I needed Him.

If you would like this Spirit in your own life, it's very simple. Just ask Jesus. Pray something like this:

"Jesus, I realize that You have been calling me. I ask that you'll forgive my mistakes and sins, and accept me as one of your own. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross. Put your Holy Spirit in me, and be with me now for eternity. Amen."

If you prayed this prayer, you now have Jesus living in you! Congratulations! You have just made the wisest and most important decision of your life. With Jesus, instead of wondering, "How can I know what to do with my life?", you will say, "Lord, please use my special talents for your eternal plan - show me!"....
